Per ANTONSSON Chairman of the board

Per Antonsson, has over 30 years of experience in life sciences, venture capital, and innovation management. He is currently Portfolio Manager at LU Ventures. He previously spent over a decade as Investment Manager at Almi Invest, supporting early-stage companies in southern Sweden. His career spans leadership and advisory roles at several companies as well as research positions at Pharmacia & Upjohn. Per has held board positions in numerous MedTech and biotech companies, including, Speximo, Pila Pharma, SARomics Biostructures, and PainDrainer. He holds a PhD from the medical faculty Lund University.

Erik SMITH Board member and co-funder

Erik Smith is an experienced Agile Scrum Master with over 11 years of professional experience in the IT industry. He is currently working at McClayTech Solutions, where he has been instrumental in managing configuration, installation, and troubleshooting of applications and software for clients. He has also led multiple cross-functional teams to develop products under budget and ahead of schedule. Erik's expertise includes Agile planning, leadership, and coaching, making him a valuable asset to any organization.

Heiner LINKE Board member and co-funder

Heiner Linke is a Professor of Nanophysics at Lund University. He has a distinguished career in the field of nanotechnology and has held positions at several prestigious institutions, including UNSW Sydney and the University of Oregon. His research interests include quantum-dot heat engines, hot-carrier photovoltaics, and semiconductor nanowires. He is currently serving as the chairman for the Nobel Committee for Chemistry.

Magnus ERIKSSON Board member

Magnus Eriksson is a deeptech investor and board member, currently serving as General Partner at STOAF III SciTech. He has been with STOAF III SciTech for over six years, focusing on early-stage investments in sustainable deep tech and life sciences startups. Magnus is also a board member and investor in several companies, including Xtal.works Sweden AB, SampleFacts, Polar Light Technologies, NordAmps, SweGaN AB, Stockholm Water Technology, and Uman Sense.Magnus has an extensive background in consulting and business development, having held various leadership roles at Gartner for nearly 19 years. He has also served as the Technical Attaché of San Francisco/Silicon Valley for the Swedish Office of Science and Technology. Magnus holds an M.Sc. in Physics from Lund University and a B.Sc. in Physics from the University of Sussex. He has also completed an Executive Education Programme in Business Administration at the Stockholm School of Economics.

Kenneth W. HARLOW Board member and CEO

Kenneth W. Harlow has extensive experience in biotechnology, life sciences, and diagnostics. He is currently the CEO and board member at Aligned Bio, a company focused on developing and commercializing innovative nanoscale technology. Kenneth has previously held leadership roles at several companies, including ilochip Bioscience A/S, EXIQON A/S, ZEALAND PHARMA A/S, and DuPont Nutrition Biosciences ApS. He holds a PhD in biochemistry from the University of Illinois and has strong entrepreneurial and business development skills, complemented by deep technical expertise in protein chemistry, bioanalysis and bioprocessing, molecular biology, and in vitro diagnostics/assay development. Kenneth also has significant experience in generating and managing intellectual property portfolios.

Rolf VOGD Board member

Rolf Vogd holds a PhD from RWTH Aachen University and is based in Mannheim, Baden-Württemberg, Germany. Rolf has extensive experience in the biotechnology sector, from Sysmex, Roche and Boehringer Ingelheim. At Roche he served as head of Business Development Centralized Diagnostics.

John NELSON Board member

John Nelson is a Senior Principal Scientist at GE Healthcare. He has been with the company since 1997, starting as a Scientist at Amersham Pharmacia Biotech, which later became part of GE Healthcare through mergers and acquisitions 1. John holds a PhD in Molecular Biology from the University of Rochester and a BS in Biology from Purdue University 1. Over the years, he has worked on numerous projects, published several papers, and been granted over 30 patents 1. His expertise includes genomics, molecular biology, life sciences, biotechnology, and technology transfer 1. John has also been involved in developing DNA vaccine technology and has contributed to significant advancements in the field, such as the DYEnamic ET terminator fluorescent dideoxy Sanger cycle-sequencing kits used in sequencing the original human genome.
